Finance Business Partner – France & Belgium SALARY: Up to €76,000 plus bonus Location: France/Hybrid Do you want to become part of the Hunter Douglas DREAM? Hunter Douglas is seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Finance Business Partner responsible for our French and Belgium entities. Hunter Douglas is the global market leader in window coverings, operating across 136 entities over 100 countries. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is the most senior finance role within the entities and is therefore crucial in developing the finance function, driving financial performance and strategic business insights, as well as ensuring strong financial controls. Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, you’ll provide accurate financial reporting, robust commercial analysis, and effective business partnering. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with an initial emphasis on being onsite more frequently to enhance team collaboration and effectively build relationships with stakeholders. The expectation is for the employee to be on-site 2-3 days a week once fully established in the role. Strong working proficiency in in English and French language is essential to this role. Key responsibilities: 1.Business Partnering: Collaborate with local and regional management to drive key commercial and financial initiatives. Generate ideas and track projects to enhance commercial and financial outcomes. Support procurement initiatives to drive savings and efficiencies. 2.Financial Reporting: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes. Provide detailed financial reporting for commercial and operations. Analyse financial statements and explain root causes of variances. Prepare and present monthly reporting packages, including KPIs and commercial insights. 3.Financial Analysis and Support: Conduct price, volume, and mix (PVM) analysis. Perform revenue management and commercial finance implementation. Identify pricing abnormalities and opportunities, optimize customer portfolios, and analyse product trends. Analyse COGS and SG&A, including material and labour inflation. Provide budgeting support and P&L and cash forecasting. Track working capital and capital expenditure proposals Monitor and approve expenses, and track savings and commercial projects Interested in this role? Here’s what we’re looking for: Qualified Accountant with experience in Finance Business Partnering Fluent in French and English. Strong financial acumen and confident with financial systems. Experience in manufacturing industry - preferred. People management experience – or demonstrates a willingness to be a people manager. Analytical with a keen eye for detail Commercial insight / acumen, with the ability to provide recommendations. Organised with the ability to effectively prioritise. Continuously strives to achieve results and looks for improvements.
