Draughtsman

White Label is representing an engineering business in the Halifax area that require a Draughtsman to join their team. The role is focused on creating and revising technical drawings and documents in response to project requirements and customer feedback. This role would suit someone with a couple of years of experience who enjoys drawing without the stress of having to manager projects, deal with customers etc. My client is offering a salary in the region of £30,000 - £35,000 as well as: 25 days holiday bank holidays Flexible working as well as opportunity for part time work is required (normal working week is 38.25 hours). Pension Duties of the Draughtsman Create detailed technical drawings and documentation using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and DraftSight. Revise and update existing documents based on customer comments and feedback. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project specifications in all technical documents. Collaborate with the technical team to understand drawing requirements and incorporate necessary adjustments. Experience required of the Draughtsman Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, DraftSight, and Microsoft Office. 2 years or more experience in design within a mechanical engineering environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise technical drawings. Ability to work independently and focus on drafting tasks without the need for customer-facing responsibilities.
