Junior Solidworks CAD Design Engineer Our client develops, engineers and manufactures high integrity, complex castings for a range of industries. All design, casting and verification services are in-house including machining, finishing and sub-assembly as required. Essentially they Design and Engineer, Cast, Machine and cast product validate. They operate in the following sectors: Automotive, EV, Motorsport, Aerospace, Defence, Petrochemical and architectural. They are now looking to recruit a junior Solidworks CAD Engineer to develop their present experience in engineering. The role itself involves: Utilising 3D CAD Solidworks Modelling to produce complex casting designs Utilising Virtual Casting Simulation software (MAGMASOFT) to reduces project development lead times. Requirements: Qualifications such as Apprenticeship trained, HNC, HND, Degree from Mechanical Engineering Discipline. Excellent experience of Solidworks or equivalent 3D CAD software. Preferred, but not essential: Knowledge of foundry pattern making, tool design or pressure die casting Salary: £25k to £35K. Working Hours: Monday to Friday
