About the Company We’re excited to be recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded accountancy practice, seeking an experienced and motivated Qualified Audit Senior to join their growing Audit team in Stevenage. About the Role As a Qualified Audit Senior, you’ll play a key role within the audit team, taking ownership of assignments from planning through to completion. You’ll work closely with an Audit Manager and wider team, supervising the progress of engagements and providing guidance to junior colleagues. Responsibilities Leading external audit assignments, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Reviewing the work of junior team members, coaching, and supporting their professional development. Liaising directly with clients, building strong relationships and delivering high-quality audit services. Utilising the latest technology and working collaboratively with other team members to streamline processes and drive innovation. Qualifications We’re looking for an ACA/ACCA/CA-qualified accountant with recent experience in Audit gained within an accountancy practice. Required Skills Strong experience managing audit engagements under International Standards on Auditing (ISAs). A solid understanding of UK GAAP and experience preparing statutory accounts. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and guide junior colleagues. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant tools. A proactive attitude with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
