Experienced HVAC Engineer

Job Advertisement: HVAC Service Technician We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time, office-based role with occasional travel to our Leicester site using a company vehicle. The successful candidate will have a solid background in working with HVAC machines, with hands-on experience in diagnostics, testing, repairs, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Diagnosing, testing, and reporting issues with HVAC machines. Preparing and providing quotes for machine repairs. Performing repairs, including soldering and electrical work. Ensuring accurate and confident refilling and emptying of gas from machines. Demonstrating strong knowledge of control panels and compressors. Working confidently and independently to identify and repair faults. Maintaining and servicing HVAC machines on a regular basis. Requirements: Previous experience in HVAC machine diagnostics, repair, and maintenance. F-Gas Certification (essential). Strong soldering and electrical skills. Ability to confidently empty and refill gases within HVAC systems. Good knowledge of control panels, compressors, and machine maintenance. Must be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently. Full UK driving license (for occasional travel to the Leicester site). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Benefits: Competitive salary: £30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience. Office-based role with working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. 21 days holiday, plus Christmas and New Year off.
