Moulding Technician

Due to continued growth an award-winning manufacturer of niche products to a range of industries is currently looking to recruit an Injection Moulding Technician within their busy and dedicated moulding team. Salary - £35,000-£45,000, Excellent benefits - 15% non-contributory pension, life assurance, private medical cover, permanent health insurance and a share purchase scheme As Injection Moulding Technician, your duties will include - Maintaining optimum production on all machines, by minimising downtime and scrap production Carrying out tool, material and colour changes Carrying out Tool/material trials as requested Ensuring accurate recording of data Ensuring production targets are met or improved where possible (cycle times) Responding to production/quality issues raised by Audits or team members To be successful in the role of Technician, the ideal candidate will have - A solid background of working with plastic injection moulding machinery, capable of troubleshooting, process optimisation and basic maintenance. Previously held the same job title, or similar such as Toolsetter, Process Technician, or Process Engineer. Interested?
