Head of Estimating

About the Role: Head of Estimating (UK-wide) Joining & managing their exciting team, you'll take on the position as Head of Estimating. In this position you'll be both creating estimations alongside ensuring the continuous development of the estimating team. Responsibilities: · This role has a 50/50 split: The leading, mentoring & development of the estimating team (50%) and working on the estimation of projects alongside liaising with sales & project teams. · Oversee the preparation of cost estimates for HVAC, mechanical services, and water projects. · Attend client meetings to discuss and clarify project requirements and deliverables. · Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improving for the whole estimating function. · Infrequent travel to Scotland. Requirements: · Minimum of 8 years' experience in an estimator role · Experience needs to be within water management, mechanical services and HVAC industries. · Extensive technical knowledge within the HVAC, mechanical services, and water industries. · Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline such as construction or mechanical engineering.
