Business Controller / Management Accountant Up to £30.22 per hour (PAYE) 12 month contract Full Time Hybrid – Broughton Chester This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional seeking a dynamic and rewarding opportunity. Role Overview The role involves management accounting and business unit controlling, with a mix of recurring and ad-hoc responsibilities. You’ll contribute to driving financial performance, streamlining processes, and supporting decision-making through robust financial analysis and reporting. Key Responsibilities Drive annual budget and quarterly forecasts across business units in collaboration with central controlling teams. Support local business/operational managers in identifying and validating improvement projects. Provide insightful financial reporting to ensure performance visibility and risk identification. Advise and challenge management on operational performance and financial topics. Assess business cases for investments and improvement projects, ensuring sound financial evaluations. Conduct financial controlling for categories like Recurring Cost, Inventory, Non-Recurring Cost, and Capex Jigs/Tools. Essential Skills & Qualifications Qualified Accountant (CIMA preferred) with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a manufacturing or commercial environment. Proficiency in SAP or similar financial reporting tools. Strong communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders across different levels and countries. A proactive, dynamic mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
