Maintenance Engineer

The company are an established and market leading manufacturer of plastic component, parts and systems. The company offer a modern, supportive working environment with the opportunity to progress. The shift is a weekly rotational 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm - Monday to Friday Salary is up to £39,000 per annum. As a maintenance engineer or maintenance technician you'll be responsible for the continuous running of equipment and machinery in industrial settings. You will oversee routine maintenance and organise repairs. Duties; Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults Diagnose breakdown problems Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components Attributes required for the role; Electrically qualified (16th, 17th or 18th edition) Experience of 3 phase power supply Multi skilled - both electrically and mechanically Hold a recognised electrical qualification (Minimum NVQ / B-Tec) Hold maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment The role is based in the Redditch area so is easily commutable from Birmingham, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Solihull, West Bromwich, Droitwich, Stratford upon Avon.
