Senior Electrical Design Engineer Salary: £55 - 65k Bonus Location: Nottingham Our client is a leading Design Consultancy within the energy sector, they have built an excellent reputation on their quality and knowledge within the sector. They are commuted to building and developing the skills and knowledge of individuals and can provide extensive training and coaching to successful Design Engineers. With a stable and growing client base they are in need of multiple Electrical Design Engineers with industry experience to continue to provide the best in class service and quality they are known for. The successful Senior Electrical Design Engineer will have experience working within utility, pipeline or related industries, and have good working knowledge of the applicable design codes including BS7671. You will have gained an Electrical Engineering degree, and be registered with an appropriate institution. You also will be working towards Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status. In addition, it would be advantageous if you had C & G 2396 electrical design qualification and experience with: AMTECH Autocad 2D ATEX / DSEAR Compliance Formal Process Safety Assessments i.e. HAZOP, HAZID, HAZCON, SWDS Safety Integrity (BS EN 61508 / BS EN 61511) The successful candidate will also be expected to carry out Instrumentation designs, and a knowledge of instrumentation systems would be an advantage.
