Contract Calibration Engineer

Our client is a manufacturer of high precision aerospace components, and due to an increase of workload, they’re looking for a Calibration Engineer to join the team on an initial 6 month contract. If you possess a passion for equipment calibration, maintaining databases, and collaborating with external service providers, this opportunity is for you. Calibration Engineer Initial 6-month contract PAYE or Umbrella rates dependant on experience 7.30am-4.15pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am-12pm Friday Leicester Calibration Engineer Job Description Manage and oversee calibration processes for factory equipment Coordinate with external service providers for accurate equipment calibration Maintain a database (IndySoft) to track and ensure proper equipment calibration Handle equipment booking, logistics, and retrieval for calibration Collaborate with the supply chain for timely calibration services and equipment availability Calibration Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Experience working within a manufacturing environment/for a manufacturing business Well-versed carrying out a calibration, or administrative based position within an engineering environment Attention to detail Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively If you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply’
