This is a fixed term position in leased labor contract with a duration of up to 12 months. Responsibilities: Be safety conscious, conform to all Micron safety policies, and able to identify potential hazards prior to working on a piece of equipment. Interact with other Micron sites Engineers and Technicians to support equipment better performance, including software improvements. Support engineering activities such as Design, Testing, Product Qualification, Product Validation, and System Verification. Perform operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assist in the design, construction, test, and check-out of test equipment. Use manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus. Operate with memory devices tests executions using memory testers including activities like device load/unload, uploading and launching test programs, collecting test results (binning, sorting). Perform Test equipment re-configuration, adapt different setups, and support new test equipment capabilities installation according to the laboratory needs. Operate on Product Validation platforms to perform tester check-ups, firmware updating, and test program launches. Operate with load/unload memory devices to execute environmental stress and trials using environmental test chambers. Be independent and able to take decisions for assigned workflows. Qualifications: Work experience in a Laboratory environment. Availability to work on shifts. Preferred Qualifications: Good verbal and written communication skills needed to interact with teams of Technicians, Engineers, Analysts, and others in the Laboratory network. Knowledge about Automatic Test Equipment used to test Memory devices, including environmental reliability stress chambers. Knowledge of flash memory systems. Be customer-focused. Flexibility to handle short-notice needs/requests. Availability to work on weekends if needed. Education: High school Diploma in Electronics or equivalent is required.
