Job Description

Dematic is looking for a talented Senior Controls Software Development Engineer to be hired with a permanent contract, for its premises in Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI) - Italy. Within the R&D office, he/she will work in an international Mechatronic and Controls team to develop products for supply chain. The employee will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Controls Software for SC3 (Dematic Crossbelt sorter) following the R&D roadmap defined by product management. Implement new Controls software functionalities as defined in the product roadmap. Support the commissioning community in deployment. Develop machine safety according to global and local regulations. Develop and maintain HMI application. Maintain and update configuration and utility tools. Integrate software and configuration documentation. Lead onsite commissioning activities in case of new features or crucial customization. The following skills are required: Programming skills at development level. Knowledge in the C/C++ programming languages at development level. Problem-solving attitude. Good knowledge in C# VB, VB.Net. Experience with Linux OS. Basic knowledge in industrial ethernet (profinet, ethernet/IP, etc.) and fieldbus (profibus). Good knowledge of Italian and English. Availability for short travels (travel up to 20% required).
