Senior Piping Engineer

Our client, an Oil and Gas Services Company, is currently hiring a Senior Piping Engineer to be based in their Milan, Italy offices. This is for a large-scale gas field development project in Libya. Type of Assignment: Full time Duration Of Assignment: 30 Months minimum Work Location(s): Milano (MUST have right to work in EU) Summarized Job Description or List of Position Responsibilities/Duties: Review the Development piping designs, layouts, and specifications. Provide technical support to other project disciplines. Evaluate vendor proposals. Supervise the installation of piping systems and conduct site inspections. Identify and resolve technical issues, proposing innovative solutions. Ensure adherence to local, national, and international regulations. Minimum Academic Qualifications: BSc or higher in the oil & gas sector with not less than 10 years’ experience. Petroleum Tech. Institute with experience in oil & gas engineering projects (Non-graduate engineer with 20 years’ experience in oil & gas production). Minimum Work Experience (Years): 10 years for Graduate engineers. 20 years for Non-graduate engineers, including experience in oil & gas engineering & design sectors. Minimum Relevant Experience: 5 years of EPIC projects experience. Level of Language Skills: Proficiency in English. Level of Computer Skills: Engineering Design Software (AutoCAD, PDS, PDMS, 3D modeling).
