Role: Legal Assistant / Paralegal - Contract - Belfast Job Overview We are assisting a well-regarded legal organisation in their search for a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an office-based position located in Belfast, offering an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the legal sector. Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: 37.5 hours per week Location: Belfast Key Responsibilities Draft legal documents, correspondence, and reports with precision. Conduct legal research and ensure accurate presentation of findings. Maintain and manage client files, ensuring compliance with legal standards. Assist with case preparation, including organising materials and liaising with clients. Act as a professional point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing queries. Prepare and submit court documents as required. Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements. Essential Criteria Candidates must meet the following requirements: Demonstrated ability to work with precision, ensuring all documentation and records are accurate. Proven organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with clients and team members. Proficiency in legal software and strong general IT skills. A legal qualification or relevant experience in a legal environment is desirable but not essential.
