Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Design Manager: Substantial UK based experience in an Architectural role. Lead the architectural design process for new builds, refurbishments, and commercial-to-residential conversions, ensuring all projects meet quality standards and specifications. Ensure compliance with building regulations, fire codes, health and safety standards, and other relevant legislation. Develop and present detailed feasibility studies independently. Contribute to planning applications by producing presentation materials and enhancing design and access statements. Extensive experience in commercial property development or fit-out projects. A strong ability to design practical, occupier-focused spaces with creative flair. Proficiency in architectural software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit. In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes for commercial properties. Proven experience in preparing and supporting planning applications. Strong communication skills to effectively present complex concepts to stakeholders. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
