Therolewillinvolveproviding1stand2ndLinetechnicalITsupport,inpersoninaTechBarsetup,viaphoneandemail,forallPCusers(withsomeMACs)andotherhardwareandsoftware. Therolewillinvolve: Loggingsupportcalls,documentingtheiroutcome,tomakedealingwithfrequentissueseasierinfuture. Escalatesupportrequestsasappropriateto3rdlineteam. Takeownershipofticketssothatusersarekeptuptodatewiththeoutcomesandprogressoftheirsupportcalls. DeployingPCsandothertechincludingnewinstallationsandtheredeploymentofexistingequipment. Dealingwithnewstartersandleaverstothebusiness,whenitcomestoITequipmentandaccesstosoftware. Takeownershipofkeepingaccurateinventoryofhardwareandsoftware. Contributetotheteamstechnicaldocumentation,guidelinesandproceduresandensuretheyaresharedwithusers. WorkingwithotherSupportandITcolleaguestoensurecontinuityofserviceforallusers. Providingfriendly,professional,courteous,andrapidresponsetoindividualusers,ensuringhighservicelevels. Aboutyou: Abletoworkonsite4daysperweek.
