As a seasoned merchandising professional with several years of experience gained preferably in a retail environment, the Point of Sales Operations Manager will, in close coordination with the sales teams, plan and execute the deployment, the new product introduction, the maintenance and the interactive experience of the merchandising programs across multiple channels, ensuring quality, readiness and sustaining the perfect customer experience. The candidate will lead the “Point of Sales Operations” teams across Italy, Spain and Portugal, within the “Sales Planning & Operations” department, supporting sales strategies and priorities and working closely with key parties such as EMEIA POS Operations team, In-store Tech, local field staff and sales, resellers HQ and external agencies. Description Working closely with channel Sales, Finance, EMEIA POS Ops and key business partners, you will drive the success of POS Ops initiatives across Italy, Spain and Portugal countries. You will focus on effective Programs coverage and planning, executing, monitoring and measuring customer experience at POS and developing key actions in order to enhance program quality, products presentation, visibility and effectiveness in store. With a strong business acumen, you will provide direction to central and your POS Ops team members, building an understanding of how their roles contribute to the achievement of sales strategies. Motivate and drive people to successfully deliver, embracing agility to deliver on common goals. You will partner with channel sales team to define and ensure seamless execution of Apple programs initiatives at the point of sales across the various distribution channels and products given the business needs and business priorities. The quality of the execution will be timely and flawless, consistent with the highest standards. You will drive the merchandising readiness across branded programs doors during New Product Introduction: you will be accountable for and ensure best-in class quality of execution across Italy, Spain and Portugal. You will be a doer and an enabler. You will handle own workload and work independently while fostering collaboration within the team in a dynamic environment. You will understand that operational excellence requires clear direction, great organisation, and the ability to eliminate roadblocks. You will drive what matters and empower your team to reach their goals along the way while driving successfully the initiatives in the countries you are accountable for. Minimum Qualifications BA/BS preferred, or equivalent. Experience in a trade marketing role is preferable. Fluency in Italian and/or Spanish, written & spoken.
