Junior Electrical Estimator

Job Title: Junior Electrical Estimator Location: Bedford, UK Salary: £37,500 - £44,500 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Estimator to join our team in Bedford. The successful candidate will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, ensuring competitive and profitable bids. Key Responsibilities: Assist senior estimators in preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical projects. Analyse project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine the scope of work. Calculate materials, labour costs, and project timelines. Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes. Prepare and submit bid proposals and tender documents. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing changes, and regulations. Support the project management team in cost control and project execution. Ensure all estimates are accurate, complete, and comply with company standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred) 1 years of experience in electrical estimating (preferred). Proficiency in electrical estimating software Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
