Senior Business Development Manager

A well-funded Quantum deep-tech company are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Leader to join their team and help accelerate growth. As part of their dynamic sales team, you will be responsible for driving new sales, developing strategies to boost revenue, and working closely with cross-functional teams to align product offerings with customer needs. Responsibilities: Lead new sales generation efforts and develop strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams (e.g., DEV, Marketing, PM) to ensure alignment and execution of sales initiatives. Analyse sales performance data and implement actionable strategies to drive improvement. Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and adjust strategies to stay ahead in the industry. Work with marketing and product teams to ensure sales strategies align with the product roadmap and customer demands. Lead advanced product presentations, demonstrating the unique advantages of products and services to meet customer needs. Organize and coordinate technical support for demos, proof-of-concept engagements, evaluations, and training. Collaborate with the team to develop clear, effective written proposals, quotes, and value propositions tailored to current and potential customers. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required. A minimum of 10 years in business development, particularly in selling engineering or technology solutions, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams (DEV, Marketing, PM, etc.). Familiarity with generative AI and large language models (LLMs). Experience in managing global teams and fostering cross-location collaboration. Exceptional problem-solving abilities to identify customer needs and deliver effective solutions. Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus. Ability to travel up to 50%. Preferred Qualifications: A combination of a degree in Science/Engineering and an MBA. Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams.
