Project Team Leading and Design in Instrumentation & Control discipline - Abser Dept. As Instrumentation Engineer Lead , you will join our Department of Plant Design (PLAD) , in the business line ABSER . At Saipem we pride ourselves on delivering Offshore Oil & Gas Plants together with HVDC and HVAC Offshore investing also in innovative Renewable applications. The candidate will help us achieve our goals of becoming the most technically advanced plant development for market requirements and design development and conducting the following activities: Supervising technical documentation regarding quality and time schedule issuing as per projects’ needs. Supporting business development and product line management performing cost-benefit analysis and business cases. Capability to work in a multicultural environment. Attitude to the coordination of work teams internal and external. Knowledge of Autocad. Familiar with international codes: IEC 61508/61511, ISA, AGA, ISO 5167, API 520/521 etc. Familiar with design software such as: SPI/InTools, Conval etc. Knowledge in TELECOM system engineering is a plus. Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise in-out information flow. Responsible for manhours and monitoring cost impacts. Plan, coordinate, execute and control the Instrumentation Engineering activities for a Project in accordance with Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards. Define and Manage the SOW for Engineering subcontractor, if any. Manage the information flow between the various Engineering departments: Process/HSE, Piping, Electrical, Procurement and Management. Endorsement of client’s technical documentation. Development of field instrumentation data sheets (i.e. Pressure/Temperature/Flow instruments) and purchasing specifications. Pre-sizing of control valves, development of related data sheets and purchasing specifications. Development of instrument lists such as: instrument list, I/O list, utilities consumption lists, cable lists, etc. Development of detail engineering such as: hook-up drawings, cable routings and cross sections, loop diagrams, instruments location layouts etc. Prepare bill of materials for bulk materials. Development of Control, Emergency and F&G systems (DCS/ESD/F&G/SCADA etc.) Technical specifications, architecture, C&E diagrams, etc. Technical Bid Evaluations. Vendors/Suppliers technical follow-up. QUALIFICATION: Candidates preferably will be degree qualified in Electronic, Industrial or Automation engineering, or equivalent. KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: B2/C1 LABOUR RELATIONSHIP: permanent contract. YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas/Renewables EPC projects. SOFT SKILLS: Strong attitude to work in a multicultural environment and in a team. Attitude to the coordination of work teams internal and external. LOCATION: Milano HO.
