Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) Operations Engineer. Job Title: Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) Operations Engineer. Location: PAN India. Experience : Minimum 6 years. Educational Qualification : 15 years of full-time education. Job Description : - We are seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to support and manage the delivery of production systems and services in line with operational requirements and service agreements. - In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of critical systems and services across multiple locations in India. Primary Skills : - Microsoft Active Directory (AD). - On-premises AD and AD-integrated DNS. - Azure AD Connect/Entra ID Connect. Roles and Responsibilities : - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to system operations. - Analyze and define technical requirements, timelines, and efforts required for project completion. - Identify key client stakeholders and ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project. - Plan and manage projects, including change controls, to ensure timely delivery and minimal disruption. - Propose solutions to mitigate risks and issues that may impact service delivery. - Provide regular status updates to clients and internal teams. - Contribute knowledge gained from projects to assist team members and improve team performance. - Update and maintain relevant knowledge bases and documentation. - Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical or high-impact incidents. - Collaborate in adherence to ITIL processes, including life cycle management and ITSM. - Manage DNS records and zones and handle certificate management and CRLs. Required Professional & Technical Skills : - At least 6 years of experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), and Microsoft Azure Active Directory. - Strong operational knowledge and experience in managing production systems and services. - In-depth understanding of system operations, troubleshooting, and service delivery in complex environments. - Familiarity with ITIL processes, best practices, and ITSM tools. - Proficiency in AD group policies, replication, and AD Sites and Services. - Experience with hybrid AD environments and integration with Azure AD or Entra ID. Desirable Skills : - Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python. - Experience with monitoring, alerting tools, and IT security protocols. - Ability to manage and lead teams effectively in dynamic project environments.
