Job Summary : - We are seeking a skilled System Administrator L2 to join our IT team. - In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our server infrastructure. - You will provide advanced technical support, implement system upgrades, and ensure optimal system performance and availability. Responsibilities : - Provide advanced technical support for system-related issues and resolve complex problems. - Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and system hardware. - Perform system performance monitoring and optimization. - Implement and maintain system security measures, including user authentication, access controls, and data encryption. - Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations. - Develop and maintain system documentation and procedures. - Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth system operations. - Participate in on-call rotation for system emergencies. - Automate system administration tasks using scripting languages (e. g, Python,PowerShell). Qualifications : - 3-5 years of experience in system administration. - Strong knowledge of server hardware and operating systems (Windows Server,Linux). - Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). - Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell). - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications : - Certifications in system administration (e.g, MCSA, Linux, ITIL, VM Ware ). - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Knowledge of database administration. - Experience with ITIL service management framework (ref:hirist.tech)
