Job Description

The Product Quality Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing both manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and performance of our products. This role requires a strong understanding of software quality assurance practices, a passion for problem-solving, and experience in both manual testing and developing automated test scripts using various tools and : - Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and exploratory testing. - Perform manual testing of new features, bug fixes, and enhancements to ensure they meet functional requirements. - Report defects in a clear, concise, and actionable manner. - Reproduce and troubleshoot defects, collaborate with developers for root cause analysis, and verify fixes. - Validate user stories and ensure that features meet acceptance criteria. - Perform testing on different browsers, platforms, and devices as required. Automation Testing : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing. - Work with the DevOps team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. - Select and implement appropriate automation tools and frameworks (e. g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc. ). - Continuously improve and refactor automation scripts for efficiency, maintainability, and scalability. - Conduct performance testing using automation tools to measure scalability, load, and performance under stress. - Analyze results from automated tests, provide detailed feedback, and recommend corrective actions. Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Proficiency in at least one test automation framework (e. g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Appium, etc. ). - Experience with scripting languages (e. g., Python, JavaScript, Java) to develop automated tests. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e. g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo) and version control systems (e. g., Git). - Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e. g., JIRA, Bugzilla). - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
