Solution Architect - Java Technologies

Job Description : Job duties : - Work with Client Partner, Technical Architect, project stakeholders to establish comprehensive and effective technical solution. - Work with technical architect, business analyst and product team to establish most effective and efficient technical solution for product configuration and integration. - Provide thought leadership to technical team(s) and stakeholders - Estimate effort and budget for whole life-cycle - Design and manage POC as required - Support sales and pre-sales team - Mentor technical staff to help them with responsibilities and establishing road map to assuming next level of responsibilities - Identify leaders and mentor them and support them Solution Architecture : - Assess the current state, understand broad requirements and pain points to conceptualize solution based on client needs - Define the overall scope, roadmap / plan, and execution approach - Estimation and pricing - Program / project management Skill expectations : - 10 years of experience in multiple lines of business in P&C industry - Minimum 3 full-lifecycle implementation experience for product deployment and integration - Experience in managing a team of 10-20 member team of technical architects / BA / Technology leads and business leads - Lead teams of software specialists / engineers for the creation / implementation of technical architecture for a product/application - Experienced in designing solution of technical integrations with third party applications with core business applications - Experience in identification and mitigation of security related threats to application - Experience in estimation techniques/methodologies on multiple technologies Technology expertise : - Experience in solutioning based on business rules and workflow engines - Experience in designing new frameworks and understanding existing frameworks - Experience in UML based analysis and design using tools - Design/Development experience with object oriented programming preferably JAVA technology stack - Core Java, Web Services, JAVA, SPRING, JAXB, CXF, etc. - Web services knowledge (SOAP, REST), Knowledge of Drools, GWT - Strong database designing & RDBMS concepts - Experience with testing methodologies and tools - Experience with deployment tools and packaging - Experience in software development processes with specific focus on requirement gathering on non-functional requirements - Effective in handling teams, grooming, identifying the training needs etc. (ref:hirist.tech)
