Samishti Infotech - SAP ABAP Developer - S/4 HANA & ECC Modules

SAP ABAP Developer Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms (SMARTFORMS, Adobe forms), and workflows on SAP S/4HANA and ECC. - Optimize ABAP code for SAP S/4HANA, implementing HANA-specific techniques such as AMDP, CDS Views, and code pushdown to improve performance. - Develop and maintain integrations with third-party applications using IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services. - Collaborate with functional teams to ensure seamless integration and meet business requirements. - Work with S/4HANA Simplified Objects to optimize existing ABAP code and improve system performance, ensuring compliance with SAP best practices. - Create detailed technical design documents (TDD) and ensure comprehensive documentation of all developments and enhancements. Provide technical expertise during the blueprint, realization, and deployment phases of the project. - Analyze and resolve technical issues within the SAP system, providing root cause analysis and supporting system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP ABAP development, including at least 1 implementation and support project on S/4HANA. - Strong proficiency in ABAP DDIC, Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP), Module Pool, SMARTFORMS, Adobe Forms, and advanced enhancement techniques. - Expertise in HANA DB technology and code optimization, including experience with CDS Views, AMDP, and code pushdown for SAP HANA. - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ODATA services for integration. - Proficiency in SAP development tools such as Eclipse/HANA Studio, SAP GUI, and WebIDE. - Experience with function modules/BAPIs, classes, and developing custom integration solutions. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with both technical and functional stakeholders (ref:hirist.tech)
