OT Security Architect

Job Title: OT Security Architect Project length: 12-month renewable Hybrid working : 2 days a week on site Location : Paris About the Role: My client is looking for a highly skilled OT Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team and play a key role in securing operational technology (OT) environments. You will be at the forefront of implementing security measures, developing risk management strategies, and guiding stakeholders on best practices to comply with regulatory and industry frameworks, particularly IEC 62443. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of OT cybersecurity strategies, ensuring alignment with IEC 62443 standards and other industry frameworks. Provide expert guidance on OT-specific risk management, leveraging IEC 62443 to design and implement proactive cybersecurity controls. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with IEC 62443 and other relevant regulatory and security frameworks. Conduct comprehensive security assessments, audits, and vulnerability assessments based on IEC 62443, identifying areas for improvement and recommending effective mitigation strategies. Work alongside cross-functional teams to embed cybersecurity best practices into the design, operation, and maintenance of OT systems. Serve as a trusted advisor on OT cybersecurity, particularly within industries such as Energy, Oil & Gas, and Manufacturing. Essential Qualifications & Skills: Proven expertise in OT cybersecurity standards, particularly IEC 62443, with a solid understanding of its application in industrial control systems (ICS). Strong experience in applying risk management practices to OT environments, with an emphasis on IEC 62443's risk-based approach. Extensive experience working within critical national infrastructure sectors, such as Energy, Oil & Gas, or Manufacturing, and implementing cybersecurity measures for OT systems. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards for OT cybersecurity, including IEC 62443.
