Field Service Engineer - Medical Devices Our client are an innovative AI and robotics for healthcare scale-up who are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join them in Paris. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of their cutting-edge medical robotic systems at customer locations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric approach. Responsibilities: Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex electro-mechanical systems. Manage customer appointments (both planned and unplanned) to ensure system reliability and meet uptime guarantees, including follow-up visits. Contribute to administrative tasks, such as spare parts inventory management, RMA processing, and maintaining training documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Customer Care, Engineering, and Quality) to identify and recommend product/process improvements based on customer feedback. Provide on-site and remote training and support to new field service engineers. Qualifications: 5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer (experience in a regulated industry preferred). Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems. Experience with Linux operating systems is essential. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to represent the company professionally when interacting with customers. Willingness to travel extensively within France and potentially to neighbouring French-speaking regions (e.g., Benelux, Switzerland) or internationally. A reliable, proactive, and responsive approach to customer issues. Collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Engineering degree. Flexibility for occasional off-hour shifts. English proficiency for training non-French speaking colleagues.
