M&A Associate / VP

Our Client, a dynamic and growing investment banking advisory firm, is seeking an experienced M&A Associate or Vice President to join their Paris office. The firm specializes in mid-market transactions across various sectors, providing strategic advisory services to clients ranging from entrepreneurs to institutional investors. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the execution of M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mandates. Conduct financial analysis, valuation modelling, and due diligence processes. Prepare and review marketing materials, pitch books, and transaction documentation. Manage day-to-day client interactions and coordinate with various stakeholders, including legal and financial advisors. Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring high-quality output and professional development. Contribute to business development efforts, including industry research and identification of new opportunities. Candidate Profile: 3-7 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance, preferably at a boutique, mid-market advisory, or larger financial institution. Strong financial modelling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, trading and transaction comparables). Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and work efficiently under tight deadlines. Solid communication and presentation skills, with fluency in both French and English. A team-oriented mindset with leadership capabilities and a proactive approach.
