Mission: The Order-to-Cash Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire Order to Cash (O2C) cycle within a Shared Services environment for the Group. This includes managing billing, collections, customer account management, and sales administration (Order Management) in an international context. The role focuses on continuous cash flow improvement, reducing payment delays, and ensuring compliance with financial processes and regulations. ACTIVITIES Management of the Order to Cash Cycle: Supervise the entire Order to Cash process, from order receipt through to payment collection. Oversee the creation and maintenance of customer accounts, ensuring data accuracy. Ensure compliance with customer information and payment terms. Lead Sales Administration to ensure smooth and efficient order management and fulfillment. Guarantee the accuracy and compliance of invoicing, factoring in order specifics and international trade regulations where necessary. Monitor receivables and implement effective collection actions, especially with international clients. Analyze and optimize DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) to improve cash flow management. Process and Tools Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to streamline O2C processes and reduce inefficiencies. Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to automate and digitize processes, considering regional specificities. Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and customs regulations. Team Management and Coordination : Lead, train, and motivate a team of O2C specialists (billing, accounts receivable, collections, order management, and dispute resolution). Support the development of team members through training and mentoring. Work closely with the Sales, Accounting, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to ensure effective collaboration and operational efficiency. Reporting and Analysis : Produce and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the O2C cycle, such as outstanding receivables, collection rates, and credit risk. Generate regular reports on customer balances, collection performance, and risks associated with receivables. Provide recommendations to enhance financial performance and streamline operations on a global scale. JOB EXPERIENCE Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within an international setting. Excellent knowledge of Order to Cash processes and associated accounting principles. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and order management tools. Strong expertise in collections management and B2B customer relations, including international experience. Strong understanding of cash flow management, foreign currency transactions, and financial risk management. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Finance, or related field. Fluent in English (essential); additional languages are a plus. Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a multicultural team. Strong attention to detail, organization, and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, especially with international clients.
