Lead Design Engineer

Global leaders in the automotive design industry have an opportunity for an experience Mechanical Designer to lead their Interior Design and Assembly Design team. You will take the lead to meet the design requirements for new models, as well as upgrade and improve existing models. The Design-for-assembly will also be part of your portfolio as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams in order to conduct tests, develop cost models and manage the Engineering Change Request system for your department. Minimum: National Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial Design) 5 Years of knowledge and experience in manufacturing industry Proficient in SolidWorks 2 Years supervisory or management experience, leading team of designers/ design engineers.
