Qualifications : - Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the education publishing industry - Strong understanding of the education publishing domain, including digital and print content - Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills - Basic technical knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, Json), with experience in mobile applications or media being highly desirable - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams - Experience with project management and process improvement : - Conduct thorough analysis of business needs and translate them into clear, concise, and detailed functional requirements. - Elicit requirements through workshops, interviews, surveys, and existing documentation. - Document and manage requirements using appropriate tools and techniques. - Analyze and document current and future state business processes. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, designers, and subject matter experts. - Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. - Facilitate communication and ensure alignment on project objectives. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flows. - Generate regular reports on project progress and key metrics. - Maintain and update requirement traceability matrix. - Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring. - Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure requirements are met. - Utilize JIRA for task management, bug tracking, and project collaboration. - Identify and analyze business problems and propose effective solutions. - Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements. - Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to resolve complex issues. - Gain and maintain basic technical knowledge in areas like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and JSON. - Understand how these technologies impact digital product development. - Possessing prior experience with mobile application development or media projects is highly desirable.
