The projects examine how different aspects of team diversity (e.g., cultural, cognitive, gender diversity) shape the dynamics and performance of teams engaged in creative work and complex problem-solving. Specifically, we will examine these questions in two contexts: a one-week international hackathon with diverse teams tackling complex challenges and academic teams competing for scientific grants. The main tasks will include data analysis, programming, synthesis of academic literature, theory development, and writing. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be expected to take the lead in data collection (if applicable) and data analysis. As the projects progress, we will work on developing the framework and manuscript together. In addition to joining these projects, the Postdoctoral Fellow will also have opportunities to continue to advance their own ongoing research projects. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be provided with a salary and a personal research budget. In addition, they will have the opportunity to interact with the broader Faculty at INSEAD and participate in all the Organisational Behaviour Area and school-wide research events such as the brown bag series, research seminars, and conferences.
