The Role We are looking for a proactive and organised Hire Controller to join the team. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations by coordinating equipment hires, managing logistics, and delivering outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities Handling customer inquiries and processing hire requests efficiently Coordinating equipment deliveries, collections, and availability Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers Ensuring optimum fleet utilisation to maximise efficiency Maintaining accurate records using inventory management software Resolving hire-related issues promptly and professionally Collaborating with internal teams to streamline operations What We’re Looking For Experience in equipment hire, logistics, or rental management (preferred but not essential—training provided) Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Excellent customer service and communication skills Knowledge of construction or plant machinery (beneficial but not required) Comfortable using computer software for inventory tracking and logistics Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve effectively A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn Why Apply?
