Senior Environmental Engineer Location: Toronto, ON Compensation: 120K - 150K Skyline Recruitment is actively seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant / Project Leader for a well-established environmental consulting firm based in Toronto . This boutique firm is composed of highly experienced geoscientists, engineers, and environmental scientists specializing in environmental and earth sciences. The Senior Environmental Consultant will play a key leadership role, managing environmental, geotechnical, and hydrogeological site assessments . This position involves overseeing projects of varying complexity, ranging from $10K to $1M , while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring project success. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all aspects of multi-disciplinary environmental projects Manage client relationships and project expectations Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget Develop scopes of work, proposals, and technical reports Mentor and support junior and field staff Stay up to date with Ontario regulations, industry best practices, and emerging environmental policies Represent the company at conferences and industry events to enhance professional expertise and company visibility Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Geotechnical Engineering P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation is an asset Minimum 8 years of experience in environmental consulting Strong knowledge of Ontario environmental regulations and standards Experience conducting geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations Expertise in Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), O.Reg. 153/04, and O.Reg. 406/19 (Excess Soil Management) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving skills and client service mindset Why Join This Team?
