Must have substantial postgraduate experience, plus a suitable postgraduate qualification, in conducting first-in-human clinical trials; for example, one of the qualifications listed in the ABPI Guidelines for Phase 1 Clinical trials, 2018 edition.Thorough understanding of Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH/GCP), and regulatory requirements. At least 5 years experience at a clinical research site, with experience as a Principal Investigator in first human clinical trials.
