Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Engineering/Automotive Site Supervisor with expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, specifically within the automotive and engineering sectors. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, project timelines, and quality control. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all site activities to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to facilitate seamless communication and project execution. Monitor the installation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular inspections of work performed, identifying and resolving any issues promptly. Maintain accurate documentation related to site activities, including progress reports and safety inspections. Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe work environment. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary materials and equipment for site operations. Assist with training and mentoring of junior staff and subcontractors in mechanical and electrical procedures. Liaise with clients to provide updates and address any concerns regarding project status and deliverables. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and quality assurance standards within the automotive and engineering sectors. Qualifications Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the automotive or engineering industry with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles. Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Proficient in using project management software and tools. A degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering is advantageous.
