We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Cape Town Role : Engineer: Port & Coastal Industry : Engineering Consulting Level : Intermediate Key Requirements: BSc Eng / BEng Civil Engineering degree (Postgraduate MEng/MScEng in Port & Coastal Engineering required) 4 years relevant post-graduate experience in Port & Coastal Engineering ECSA Registration as Candidate and Professional Experience in marine intake/outfall systems, hydraulic designs, and diffuser configuration design Proficiency in coastal structure design, such as revetments, breakwaters, and scour protection Knowledge of coastal processes, site assessments, and environmental design condition evaluation Experience in modelling tools (SWAN, Delft-3D, DHI Mike) and coastal software (XBEACH, UNIBEST-CL) Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D, Revit, and programming (MATLAB / Python) Familiarity with coastal design standards (Rock Manual, EuroTop, DNV).
