Job Opportunity: Project Quantity Surveyor Location : Northeast (Teesside/Co Durham preferred) Salary : Competitive, Negotiable About the Role : Join a fast-growing team as a Project Quantity Surveyor Based in the Northeast, you’ll bring your expertise in engineering capital projects to support high-profile clients in sectors like chemicals, oil & gas, energy, pharma, and civil engineering. What You’ll Do : Manage procurement and major subcontract packages (civil, mechanical, electrical) Oversee project costs, subcontractor payments, and forecasting Handle contract negotiations, variations, and commercial strategy Work with NEC4, IChemE, and similar frameworks to prepare contracts What We’re Looking For : 3-5 years’ experience in commercial or quantity surveying Background in engineering capital projects (chemical, oil & gas, energy, pharma, civil) Strong contract negotiation skills, especially with NEC4 & IChemE RICS membership is a plus, but not essential Why Join?
