Job Description

Budgeting and Projections Budget-planning and progress communication. Month-end reporting to shareholders (executive reporting). Weekly cash forecasts, monthly cash planning and annual forecasting for full financial year. Review and compiling of monthly internal management reports (management reports). Financial Analyses Review and analyses of cost reports. Deploy improvements. Forex management: Hedging policy, annual plan and active management. Presenting results of season analysis, budgets and results to shareholders and directors. Capital Projections Cost control and approvals of all CAPEX items and invoices Erecting and re-defining business plans. Employment Relations Define and communicate clear goals Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement (personal development plans). Actively participate in diverse employment (Employment Equity and BEE initiatives) Embrace technology and innovation as part of learning & development (aligned with hr-function). Systems Financial policy and standard operating procedures (SOP) creation and annual review. Continuous improvement of financial systems and information security. Compliance & Risk Assurance Submission of EMPs, VAT, IRP5 reconciliations whilst pro-actively managing SARS enquiries. Managing annual audits and income tax related topics. Ensuring legislative compliance by aligning SOPs with regulations (Risk Management). Reviewing of insurance plans and deploy amendments. Post Graduate Financial Degree (NQF8) Experience in Agri-Business sector 1-2 years of experience regarding soft citrus & lemons
