Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support the Financial Manager in analysing financial data and trends. Maintain and update financial records and ensure accurate data entry into financial systems. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of the organizations annual budget. Monitor and track budget performance, providing reports on variances. Help the Financial Manager with financial forecasting and planning. Accounts Payable: Assist in the processing and tracking of accounts payable. Ensure accurate and timely payments and collections. Support in the management of invoices, expense reports, and payment documentation. Assist with getting comparable quotations and placement of orders Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy. Support the Financial Manager in managing cash flow and tracking discrepancies. Compliance and Record Keeping: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Maintain organized and accurate financial records for auditing purposes. Support the Financial Manager in preparing for audits and ensuring all required documents are available. Payroll Assistance: Provide support in the preparation and processing of payroll. Assist with HR related administrative tasks General Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Financial Manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling communication. Maintain financial filing systems and ensure easy retrieval of records. Qualifications: A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. Proven experience in a finance or accounting role (2-5 years preferred). Strong understanding of financial principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (experience with accounting software a plus). Proficiency in Financial Software: Experience with accounting and payroll software (e.g., Sage) and ERP systems Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
