Job Description
What you will do? Responsible for oversight IMMEX compliance for all our business units, by the establishment of procedures, create policies, perform strategical electronic and in-site audits (transactional testing), and development of KPIs to measure the continuous improvement of our processes pursuing the integrity of global operations. Lead projects along with internal departments and external suppliers, to automate processes for trade compliance oversight; audit, centralization of information, trade automation qualification, data accuracy of IMMEX transactions for a risk mitigation all-across site. Be a proactive and influential member of a dynamic and forward thinking strategic corporate trade compliance. How you will do it? Internal COE risk program managing follow up on each Business unit. Managing and drive inventory control for Annex 24 and Annex 31 an all locations. Maintain KPI report (Risk assessment / transaction testing) KPIs Inventory control accuracy (IMMEX management). Develop and Implementation of SOPs , SOW and instructions for process standardization. Regime of imports definition (parameters on systems) Data conciliations ERP, Annex 24 and Data Stage BOMs validation ERP Vs Annex 24 HTS validation on Data Bases HTS binding rulings Monthly backflush analysis Discrepancies reviewed and resolved by Trade, Tax and Business units Drive and execute Duty and VAT payment analysis and decision Analysis of Customs valuation, incremental costs vs value added declared (maquiladoras) Processing of special operations for Annex 24 inventory control. Attend /Support customs audits from Mexican federal authorities Support financial audit - external assessments (PWC) Implement Crossed-audits to other CoEs Non-tariff regulations revision INEGI reports control. Deploy, execute and supervise a risk mitigation plan all-across sites Analyze customs regulations updates. Training & awareness for operations teams. Revision of our customs duty strategy avoidance for FTA, Prosec , others. Manage BU dashboard performance review for IMMEX deliverables What are we looking for? Software Annex 24 experience. Domain of Mexican customs regulations, law and decrees. Audit experience. Domain of root cause analysis methodologies (8D’s, Ishikawa diagrams, Decision tree) among others & Continuous improvement. Data stage analysis (customs reports). Soft skills: Teamwork & collaboration, business judgement, analytical reasoning & innovation, critical thinking, leadership, productivity & results focused. High level understanding of materials flow – Supply Chain (warehouse entries, cycle counting, materials adjustments, SCRAP).
