Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure precision machining. Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments to optimize machining operations. Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure components meet required tolerances. Monitor machine performance, making necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Maintain and clean machines, tools, and work areas to ensure safe and effective operation. Identify and troubleshoot machining errors and material defects, implementing corrective actions where necessary. Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and company quality standards. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to improve processes and optimize production.
