We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in South Africa Role : Project Director Industry : Renewable Energy / Infrastructure Development Level : Executive / Senior Management Key Requirements : Degree in Engineering with 5 years experience in renewables Lead the Technical Workstream to achieve Final Investment Decision (FID) Assess business and project needs to optimize feasibility and execution Manage site surveys and technical studies (geotechnical, hydrological, topographical) Oversee performance assessments and preliminary designs for optimization Ensure compliance with local regulations while achieving optimal LCOE Perform CAPEX/OPEX assessments, LCOE analysis, and schedule planning Conduct technical due diligence with internal and external teams Lead procurement and contract negotiations with EPC/BOS contractors and equipment suppliers Personal Attributes: Strategic and results-driven leader with strong decision-making skills Excellent technical, business, and financial acumen Effective negotiator with strong stakeholder management abilities Hands-on approach with a focus on execution and problem-solving High attention to HSE, risk management, and compliance If you would like to apply for this position, please send your CV through to engineering.vacancystand-outstaffing.co.za Alternatively, contact us at XXX-XXXX for more information or visit our website on: www.stand-outstaffing.co.za
