Job Description
ð Location: Head Office, Cape Town ð Contract: Fixed-term, subject to renewal in line with funding a well-established non-profit organisation, is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial management, audits, compliance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. This role primarily focuses on Centres for Disease Control (CDC) projects and offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful healthcare initiatives. Key Requirements: â CA (SA) with at least 3 years experience in finance, accounting, and management â 2 years post-articles experience â Knowledge of financial accounting systems (e.g., SAP) â PEPFAR audit experience (advantageous) â Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial modelling â Clear credit & criminal record â Valid Code 08 drivers licence Key Responsibilities: ð¹ Financial Management & Reporting Oversee project bookkeeping, compliance, and reporting to funders ð¹ Audit & Compliance Manage statutory audits and VAT accounting ð¹ Budgeting & Cash Flow Ensure financial accuracy and cash-flow management ð¹ Stakeholder & People Management Engage with internal & external stakeholders and lead finance teams ð Closing Date: 2nd October 2024 This is a renewal contract role, contingent on funding availability.
