Network Engineer (French speaking) – CCNP Certified – Le Havre – Freelance We are working with a specialist IT Services organisation who are looking for a Network Engineer to work on a freelance basis (one year) on site in Le Havre. Please note this role requires a fluent French speaker with it being the primarily language for this role, and the successful candidate will hold Cisco CCNP certification. Key Responsibilities: Implementing security standards, particularly those relating to access conditions Ensure the proper management of network access rights, for machines on the one hand, and for users (creation and monitoring of user accounts), in compliance with the company's security rules Ensure the implementation of version upgrades Supervise the installation and configuration of equipment (switches, routers, etc.) and software for network (and telecoms) administration software Drawing up test procedures and monitoring their implementation Monitor the deployment and management of equipment and the configuration of routers, implementing virtual routers and optimising backbone routing Define all the backups required to maintain the security of data circulating on the company’s network Manage performance (alert thresholds and optimisation (tuning), etc.) Set up dashboards to monitor network performance and quality (breakdowns, flows, availability of resources, security, etc.), resource availability, security, etc.) Define the back-up plan in the event of network failure Provide technical and functional expertise on the networks This is a great opportunity to work with a leading consultancy on a range of interesting projects alongside an impressive team, and well-known clients.
