Accounts Senior

Our client is a well-established and reputable accountancy firm committed to delivering high-quality financial services to businesses and individuals for the last 8 years. They are a smaller practice that are currently looking for an Accounts Senior for their Croydon office who enjoys problem-solving and thrives on building meaningful client relationships. In return, they are looking to pay up to £50,000, provide study support for qualifications and other benefits such as life insurance. As an Accounts Senior, you will be an integral part of a dynamic and supportive team, providing high-quality accounting services to a diverse client base. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to client service and business growth. Accounts Senior Job Overview Collaborate with clients to provide clear, practical financial advice. Prepare statutory accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns. Review and support the work of junior team members, providing mentorship and technical guidance. Build strong client relationships, offering strategic insights on tax planning and business growth. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Use accounting software and Microsoft Office to manage client accounts efficiently. Continuously develop technical knowledge to stay updated with industry changes. Accounts Senior Job Requirements A part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/AAT preferred). Minimum of 3 years' experience in an accounting practice. Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with accounting software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for learning and growth. Accounts Senior Salary & Benefits Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications).
