The main tasks of the SOC are to secure the Federal Police in cyberspace and to coordinate and process ICT-related security incidents. To fulfill these tasks, the team carries out threat analyses, conducts IT security monitoring, supports the incident management process for IT security incidents and develops and operates the special systems required for this, such as network sensors, incident processing systems or SOAR and SIEM. In cooperation with managers, users and developers, the Product Owner (PO) plays a central role in the continuous (further) development of the SIEM of the Federal Police: based on a comprehensive requirements profile, which was created in close cooperation with managers and end users, the PO expands the overall system concept and is responsible for planning and implementing new features and functions. The tasks of the PO include both conceptual and practical activities. The core tasks include: Creating a requirements profile for the SIEM solution and prioritizing the requirements Creation and management of a product backlog for the SIEM solution Carrying out sprint planning and sprint reviews Development of the overall system and communication with stakeholders Requirements profile Completed university degree (Master/Dipl. univ.) in computer science, communications engineering, business informatics or a comparable university degree program related to computer science Several years of professional experience in the field of cyber security specialist knowledge and practical experience with IT security standards, in particular ISO/IEC 27001, BSI baseline protection or comparable standards Expert knowledge of data center design and processes Specialist knowledge and practical experience in setting up IT system architectures German language skills: business fluent in spoken and written (at least level C1) You have German or EU/EEA citizenship You also have strong teamwork and communication skills and a high level of responsibility and commitment What we offer Long-term predictability - thanks to a secure job in the public sector.
