The main tasks of the SOC are to secure the Federal Police in cyberspace and to coordinate and process ICT-related security incidents. To fulfill these tasks, the team carries out threat analyses, conducts IT security monitoring, supports the incident management process for IT security incidents and develops and operates the special systems required for this, such as network sensors, incident processing systems or SOAR and SIEM.
