Accountant Trainee

As part of Forvis Mazars ’ strategic move to create a centralized service to serve clients across Europe, we have created Global Compliance & Reporting service with teams, processes and technology that allows multinational groups to meet all its accounting, tax, payroll and legal obligations and commitments, both locally and internationally while having accurate information centralized and delivered from our Center of Excellence (CoE). We are hiring an Accountant Trainee to join this strongly growing team in Barcelona. This is an opportunity to contribute to a strategic project at Forvis Mazars and to work in an English-speaking and truly international environment with a high number of countries across Europe. Your mission: Assist in the interaction with the different assigned clients (whatever their sector and size) Support in the preparation, analysis, and review of the clients’ general accounting (suppliers, clients, accounting entries, provisions, prepayments, banks, fixed assets) Help in preparation of reporting, analytical accounting, treasury forecasts, as well as any additional information requested by the client Be involved in the preparation of the necessary documentation and information to compile and present the recurrent obligations of the clients Support the preparation of annual accounts and official books Support the automation, standardization, and improvement of internal accounting processes Support in any of the functional areas defined in the department, depending on their skills Your profile and requirements: Currently studying 4th course of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or economics. Availability for doing an Internship Agreement and for starting immediately. Knowledge of SAP and Excel (value) Good oral and written communication in English (B2 or C1 level) Interest and ability to multi-task in a multi-disciplinary environment. Ability to prioritize workload and ability to work with strict reporting deadlines What do we offer: Internship agreement with the possibility of becoming a permanent employee.
