Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities : Team Leadership & Development : - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, growth, and collaboration. - Hire and onboard top engineering talent to expand the team. Technical Leadership : - Drive the design and development of scalable, robust, and efficient systems, with a focus on performance and reliability. - Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for complex challenges, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Product Collaboration : - Work closely with the co-founders, product managers, and designers to align engineering efforts with the product roadmap. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define new features, enhance existing functionalities, and prioritize technical debt reduction. Process Optimization : - Establish and refine best practices for development, testing, and deployment. - Advocate for automation and efficiency to minimize bugs and increase release cadence. Technology Ownership : - Oversee key platform features like ad creative generation, cost breakdowns, and international ad support. - Drive innovation with cutting-edge technologies like LLMs, SDXL, ControlNet, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). - Implement scalable architectures that cater to the growing customer base and their diverse needs. Required Qualifications : - Proven experience in managing and scaling engineering teams (preferably in a SaaS environment). - Strong expertise in backend technologies (e.g., Golang, REST APIs, SQL optimization, Gin framework). - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and tools like Glue, CloudWatch, and vector databases. - Deep understanding of software development best practices, including logging, unit testing, and CI/CD. - A track record of building AI-driven or ad-tech platforms is a strong plus. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments. - Familiarity with generative AI technologies and their applications in ad creatives and campaign optimization. - Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product and marketing teams.
